C.L. Lynch is a socially awkward introvert who recently realized that she is actually autistic. Her entire life now makes a lot more sense.
She wrote her first novel, Chemistry, because she wanted to write a book which was “the exact opposite of Twilight,” featuring an assertive heroine and a respectful love interest. She ended up with a zombie rom-com with a surprising amount of heart. Chemistry was a finalist in the Wishing Shelf Book Awards and winner of a 2017 IndieReader Discovery Award.
The sequel, History, is far too long but her fans don’t seem to mind that at all. The third and final book in the trilogy, Biology, is currently being written.
“Stella is no Bella… Not your run-of-the-mill zombie book, this title has heart.” – School Library Journal
“Lynch’s work is overflowing with wit… Lynch cleverly and dramatically subverts expectations, delivering a fast-moving and very fun zombie blood-fest that challenges ideas about femininity and teenage love.” – Booklife Prize in Fiction
” ..awesomely sarcastic and completely witty.” – YA Book Central
“…funny and irreverent…” – Foreword Reviews
“Chemistry doesn’t just tell a story – it roars it.” – The Midwest Book Review
